Who We Are
ICEA LION Asset Management Limited (“ILAM” or “the REIT Manager”) has been in existence for the last 35 years, making it the oldest fund management company in Kenya. The REIT Manager is licensed by the Capital Markets Authority as a fund manager and REIT manager and currently holds over KES 200 Billion in assets under management (“AUM”).
The REIT Manager has extensive experience in managing real estate assets for both internal clients and third-party assets to the tune of KES 17 Billionas at 31st December 2019. These assets include office, residential and other non-traditional real estate assets that we are actively considering.
The REIT Manager leverages on the strength of the ICEA LION Group, which has a long history of successful real estate development and investment in the market. The Group’s success in the property space is as a result of employing fundamental analysis in all its investment decisions. The REIT Manager has therefore acquired deep knowledge and experience in this segment and particularly in:
